Overview
The PB4 Pre-Breaker is a heavy-duty machine designed for rapid size reduction of whole fallen animals, condemned carcasses, green bone etc. and similar materials in the rendering industry.
The cutting edges inside the machine are formed from a specific hard facing grade of steel. The machine operates on the principle of a shearing action to rapidly process high volumes of material.
PB4 Pre-Breakers can be supplied as bareshaft machines (as per image this page) or as a complete turnkey item, including the drive motor, gearbox, couplings and baseframe. If processing of whole large animals is desired, the use of the larger PB6 Pre-Breaker should be considered.
